—The Warmth in a Russian Winter

Held from January 27 to 30, 2026, at the Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, RUPLASTICA 2026 — the flagship plastics and rubber exhibition in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) — concluded successfully with remarkable outcomes. As an annual landmark event in the global plastics and rubber industry, it covered the entire plastic processing industrial chain, attracting over 1,000 enterprises from more than 20 countries and approximately 35,900 professional visitors, over half of whom had clear procurement demands. Throughout the four-day exhibition, exhibitors showcased cutting-edge technologies and products, while industry professionals engaged in in-depth exchanges on market trends, transforming the event into a dynamic platform for cooperation and innovation.

Chinese enterprises played a pivotal role in this exhibition, emerging as a standout with their active participation. Around 400 Chinese enterprises, including Guangzhou Putong, Youzhu Machinery and Huada Machinery, took part in the event, presenting a diverse range of high-quality products such as high-end biaxial stretching experimental lines, precision injection molding machines and low-temperature adaptive equipment. In particular, Jiangsu Victor Machinery showcased high-quality IBM equipments and molds from China to everyone through their agent Zabelin. Many Chinese enterprises conducted in-depth communications with potential clients from Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, initially securing multiple cooperation intentions and laying a solid foundation for exploring the Eastern European market. Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, highlighting the strong complementarity between China and Russia’s plastic industries.

Exhibition Significance

RUPLASTICA 2026 played an irreplaceable role in advancing industry development and international cooperation. For Russia, which faces a huge market demand of over 8 billion US dollars in the plastics and rubber industry along with an obvious equipment gap, the exhibition bridged the supply-demand divide and promoted the upgrading of local equipment. For Chinese enterprises, it offered a valuable platform to demonstrate the strength of “Made in China” and gain insights into the demand pain points of the Russian market. Furthermore, the exhibition strengthened exchanges and cooperation among countries in the plastics and rubber industry, facilitated the integration of industrial chains, and injected new vitality into the sustainable development of the global plastics and rubber industry.

During the 4-day exhibition, Victor’s Business Manager and its agent Zabelin promoted their flagship product, the MSZ30-HE, to a large number of Russian customers. This model is Victor’s best-selling machine, which has been sold to all parts of the world. It boasts outstanding advantages in the production of small bottles – such as eye drop bottles, pesticide bottles and liquid packaging bottles – including high product quality, multi-cavity molding capability and excellent surface finish. Many university students also visited our booth to learn and gain insights into the injection blow molding industry.

After the exhibition, the business manager will also bring technicians to visit the companies or factories of old customers, have in-depth discussions with them on technical issues, and actively complete after-sales work, such as parts replacement, processing, procurement, etc.

A wonderful experience in Moscow

They say this is the heaviest snow Moscow has seen in years, blanketing everything in white. Yet the time spent with our clients filled the Victor team with nothing but warmth. Russian salmon salad is a classic cold Russian appetizer. It’s mainly made with tender smoked or salted salmon, mixed with fresh veggies like cucumber and tomato, tossed in a creamy dressing (usually sour cream or mayonnaise), with a fresh, rich and light taste, perfect as a starter for meals. Russian roast chicken is tender and juicy, usually seasoned simply with salt, black pepper, garlic and herbs like dill, then roasted to golden crisp skin. Served with classic Russian roast potatoes—cubed potatoes tossed in oil, salt and paprika, baked until crispy outside and fluffy inside, it’s a hearty, comforting staple in Russian home cooking and casual dining.
