Victor Machinery at COMPLAST Kenya 2026: Building Stronger Connections in East Africa

From July 13 to 15, 2026, Victor Machinery participated in COMPLAST Kenya at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi. As an important professional exhibition for the plastics industry in East Africa, the event brought together machinery manufacturers, material suppliers, mould makers, packaging producers and plastics processors from different countries.

For Victor, the exhibition was more than an opportunity to present injection blow molding technology. It was also a valuable window into the development of Kenya and the wider East African plastics market.
A Growing Demand for Better Packaging Production
During the exhibition, we met visitors from Kenya and neighboring African markets. Many of them were involved in pharmaceutical packaging, food and beverage packaging, cosmetics, household chemicals and other plastic container industries.
Through these conversations, we gained a clearer understanding of what local manufacturers expect from modern production equipment. Stable operation, reasonable energy consumption, easy maintenance and consistent product quality were among the most frequently discussed requirements.
Customers were especially interested in manufacturing bottles with accurate neck finishes, smooth surfaces and uniform wall thickness. These details are essential for pharmaceutical bottles, cosmetic containers and other products that must work reliably with caps, plugs or dispensing components.
The discussions confirmed that African plastics processors are no longer focused only on increasing production capacity. More companies are looking for equipment that can improve quality, reduce waste and support long-term business growth.
Practical Solutions Attracted Attention
At the Victor booth, we introduced our injection blow molding machine MSZ50S and explained how the IBM process combines injection molding and blow molding in one production system.

This process is particularly suitable for producing small and medium-sized plastic containers with precise neck dimensions, clean appearance and stable repeatability. It can be widely used for pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetic, food and daily chemical packaging.
Visitors showed strong interest in Victor’s experience in machine stability, precision control, mould coordination and customized production solutions. Instead of discussing machines only as individual pieces of equipment, many customers wanted to understand the complete project—from bottle design and material selection to mould development, machine configuration, installation and technical support.
This reflects an important change in the market: customers increasingly value suppliers that can provide practical, complete and reliable solutions.

More Than Business: A Better Understanding of the Market
COMPLAST Kenya also gave us the opportunity to experience Nairobi’s energetic business environment. The openness and professionalism of the visitors left a strong impression on our team.
Face-to-face communication helped us better understand local production conditions, investment priorities and service expectations. We also recognized that expanding into an overseas market requires more than supplying high-quality machinery. Timely communication, operator training, spare-parts support and dependable after-sales service are equally important.
Every conversation at the exhibition gave us useful feedback. These insights will help Victor further optimize its machines and services for customers in Kenya and across East Africa.
Moving Forward with Our Global Partners
The conclusion of COMPLAST Kenya 2026 is not the end of our journey—it is the beginning of new cooperation.
Victor Machinery will continue to develop stable, precise and efficient injection blow molding solutions while strengthening its presence in international markets. We look forward to building long-term partnerships with plastics processors, packaging manufacturers, distributors and industry professionals throughout Africa.
We sincerely thank everyone who visited the Victor booth and shared their ideas with us. Victor will continue moving closer to overseas customers, listening to their needs and supporting them with reliable equipment, professional technology and responsive service.
Victor Machinery—precision manufacturing, reliable partnership and a growing global presence.
